This largely new build project took the shell of an existing building, removed the roof, built a new upper storey, extended on the side, and dug out a large underground kitchen with a roof terrace above. Substantial amounts of glass, and glass floors bring ample light into the interior. The brief from a property investment company was to add value for resale - achieved by radically increasing the floor space and fitting the property out to a high standard.
