Andy Down
Chartered Architect BSc., Barch, ARB

Andy develops the initial designs with Aurore, and is generally involved with the planning process, cost planning and the initial construction phases.

Educated at Sherbome School, Dorset, Andy went on to study Architecture at Dundee University where he was awarded the Gordan Mathewson award as the top degree student of 1984. While working for EPR Architects, a commercial practice, Andy worked on a number of large commercial and residential projects.

He became a Chartered Architect in 1987 and joined the practice of APT Partnership architectural practice. He was made an associate in 1989.

At APT, Andrew had the chance to work on a wide range of projects ranging from one off houses, to large offices, industrial and residential developments.

Aurore Down
Chartered Architect BSc., ARB

Aurore looks after the property letting and management side of the business, which she organises for her own properties as well as for overseas clients. Aurore was educated in both Britain and Ghana.

She studied at the University of Dundee and became a Chartered Architect in 1989. She has worked in both the public and private sector. Aurore’s public sector experience includes refurbishing old peoples homes, and the new Barnet Town Hall building.

Since the formation of Archplan in 1992, Aurore has specialised in residential refurbishment work, interior design and project management.
